VOLVO V70 AND S80 CARS RECALLED

Volvo have recalled their V70 and S80 passenger cars due to a risk of injury to users as water may leak into the electric hydraulic power assisted steering pump affecting the functionality of the pump. As a result of this, various warning message symbols may light up on the dashboard display. In the worst case, a sudden loss of power – assisted steering could occur and the engine could unexpectedly stall. These vehicles are being recalled by Volvo to be examined and repaired if necessary. The type of models involved are the V70 126136 – 145264 models and the year of manufacture is 2010. The S80 116899-124504 models are also affected. Their year of manufacturer is 2010.
