The Food Safety Authority has confirmed that R&R Ice-Cream Ltd. has recalled certain multipacks of Chokablok ice-creams on sticks which were sold in Tesco Stores in Ireland.
The products have been recalled due to the fact that some of the ice-creams contain fragments of wood lolly-stick broken during production. Multipacks with a date code after BBE October 2012, tub variants and 100ml single chokablok ice-creams are not affected by this recall. Point-of-sale customer recall notices are being displayed in Tesco Stores.
The products affected are Chokablok chocolate extremists, Chokablok peanut butter nutter and Chokablok Billionaires dynamite.
If you have consumed one of these ice-creams and have suffered an injury as a result you may be entitled to claim compensation.
