Marks and Spencer has recalled four of its own brand products as they have been incorrectly date coded “use by 09 March” instead of “use by 09 February”. Consumers have been advised by the Food Safety Authority not to eat the implicated batches after the 9th of February 2012. No other products or date codes are affected by the recall. Marks and Spencers has issued in-store notices informing customers of this recall and advising those who have bought the affected products to return them to a Marks and Spencers store.
The products are crispy prawn won tons, crispy vegetable ball, prawn baguette toast and prawn siumi selection. All of the products have a use by date of the 9th of March 2012.
